Financial Assistance
For people with a guarantor
There is no financial support from the government, but there is support from local governments and private organizations.
- The Nippon Foundation provides assistance for covering the cost of flight E-tickets purchase, living and housing expenses. In order to receive assistance for the cost of flight E-tickets purchase, please keep your E-tickets and other documentary evidence. The Nippon Foundation also provides assistance for the cost of flight E-tickets purchase before arriving in Japan.
- Some local governments provide benefits to people who fled from Ukraine. If you are receiving assistance from other sources, you may not be eligible for assistance from the local government. Please contact the local municipal office where a person who fled from Ukraine or his/her guarantor lives.
