The Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance is a system which provides money when you get illness or injuries on the job. This insurance covers you if you are injured while commuting as well. It also applies to foreign nationals working in Japan, and there are some conditions for insurance benefits. Are all workers eligible for the Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance?
The Industrial Accident Compensation Insurance covers people who are employed and are being paid their wages. Regular employees, part-time workers and daily employees are all eligible. Check the website of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (MHLW) as well.
