Will my residency status be revoked?
If you violate Japanese law or engage in activities outside of your residency status without permission, your residency status may be revoked.
Can I be asked to return to my home country?
Basically, as long as you have your residency status, you will not be asked to leave Japan. While you are applying for refugee status, you will not be forcibly deported. However, if your application for refugee status is rejected and your residency status is canceled, and a deportation order is issued, you may be asked to leave or get deported by the Immigration Bureau.
