Please follow traffic rules when riding a bicycle. Bicycles have to be on the street when the sidewalk and street are seperated, because they are categorized as light vehicles. Please ride on the left side of the street. Drunk-driving is prohibited. Riding double on a bicycle is prohibited, except when putting a child under 6 years old. Do not talk on the phone or use an umbrella while riding. Some local authorities requires enrollment in bicycle insurance. Please check the requirements, if any, of the local authority you live in. Check the website of the National Police Agency as well.

Police officers may stop you if a person other than the owner or the registrant of the anti-theft registration is riding the bicycle. In that case, please explain that you have borrowed it from a friend and your relationship with him/her.
